Beef carpaccio

The recipe is very simple, it would take you 15 min to prepare it, no longer. The only problem with this recipe is to get the right meat. Ask you butcher for a fillet, which could be used for carpaccio.

Beef carpaccio

  • 200 g centre-cut beef fillet
  • 1-2 lemon, juice only
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • freshly ground black pepper (crashed corns)
  • salt
  • 3-4 garlic cloves (optional)
  • rocket leaves
  • Parmigiano shavings
  • Thinly slice the meat approximately into 0,8 inch pieces or ask your butcher to do it
  • Place the slices between two sheets of cling film and flatten out from both sides using a meat mallet
  • Arrange the slices on a serving plate, sprinkle with salt, pepper and pour over the lemon juice mixed with olive oil. Top with the garlic cloves
  • Cover with the cling film and put to the fridge for 15 min or more

  • Arrange the rocket leaves over the meat and garnish with the Parmigiano shavings
