Honey-marinated salmon

Honey-marinated salmon

  • 1 kg salmon fillet, skin removed


  • 1 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1 bunch dill
  • 200 g honey
  • 230- 250 g coarse sea salt
  • 1 l water
  • Dissolve salt in the boiling water, cool down a bit
  • Add honey and stir until dissolves
  • Put the fillet into a dish, season with pepper and layer with the dill
  • Pour over the marinade, cover and place into the fridge for 24 hours

I marinated the salmon for 2 days. I used black pepper instead of the white one, also added bay leaf and a couple of sprigs of lemon grass. Delicious!
